Here's some inflationary jokes that might make you smile. :)

"I was going to trade in my car at the dealership but when they found out the gas tank was empty they told me it had no value."

"Vin Diesel is changing his name to Vin Electric."

"A picture is only worth 100 words now."

" I know what we can do, let's call in Tom Brady, he's a master of deflation."

" You know times are tough when you see all the CEO's playing miniature Golf."

"Gas prices are so high even COVID has stopped traveling."

"Attendance at the Art museums has fallen off, nobody has the Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh."

Times are so hard people people in the grocery stores are being asked if they wanna box for their fruit and veg.
Tricky if you don't like violence and have no cash.

An exemplary husband know how to impress his wife and build a budget car out of spaghetti. Try it yourself and see the look on your wife's face when you drive pasta.

Economic update -
A slice of apple pie in the Jamaica is $2.50 but it is $3.00 in the Bahamas.
These are the pie rates of the Caribbean.

Good ones Marina, and especially when one can appreciate the inflationary "accentual value" of what you're pricing,

You being from the UK, I was wondering if you like green leaf tea?

No I am very particular about my tea. I do not like green leaf tea. However I do have a tea plant and it has green leaves. I like my plant.

You're a good plant manager. :flowers: Do you drive a fork lift too? :)

I kind of figured you were particular about your tea. I prefer black tea steeped for 4 mins, not three and not five, 4 mins makes the perfect cup. If I'm drinking Iced tea I like the Luzianne brand, very lightly sweetened with no lemon. https://luzianne.com/products/

Does this look familiar: https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion ... s-members/

I hope you have been doing well and getting along fine.

I am a reasonable plant manager - but know what Stranger? Looking after land is man's work. God gave men the muscle, he did not give it to women. Even when women have significant strength it is nothing compared to men when you see them men work on the land.

Recently I have been moving heavy stones. I did well but what came to mind as I lifted them was the damage that I could do if I dropped one. Then I thought how much more a man could lift than me and the damage he could do if he dropped one.
Then I remembered about the hail mentioned in the book of Revelation, how every hailstone is the size of a talent. I understand a talent to be the full weight a man could lift on his own. I reflected on how much damage could be done if hailstones the size of a talent fell on the land.

Hedging against inflation more people seem to be taking to growing their own. They sense something radical is changing.

Re your article
Recreational marijuana is also banned, church leaders said, but medical marijuana and opioids are fine when used as prescribed by a doctor. The church had previously said it approved of medical marijuana in certain circumstances, but last year it opposed a medical marijuana bill in Utah that it said went too far.
Yes when I worked with doctors one said to me, 'it works like this, you pay us and we do whatever you ask."
