I thought it would be interesting even for someone who is not a JW.
Hi Maria,
The way I look at is no different than the way I look at my cable company or telephone company or any other bill I get sent in the mail. I did ask, what would the new scribes call the old scribes? Well now, the answer is the same as what we can call JW's now. (Subscribers)
Did they listened to me in the end!?? I doubt it. But I told them they weren't Jehovah's Witnesses cause they were opposing the prophet Daniel - then one super clever elder said, 'the prophet Daniel is not a channel Jehovah is using today.' I put it to the Chairman of the committee of those appointed to disfellowship me that Jesus Christ himself acknowledge the veracity of Jehovah's Witnesses, such as the prophet Daniel. Were they therefore saying that Jesus Christ was apostate? For while the power of speech appeared to be removed from the Chairman as he made funny grunting and and gasping noises. He was saying 'yes' but trying to stop himself and sort of suffocating at the same time.
I think they find words crippling as they are restricted by them. They want to break free from semantics.
Cue new Kingdom Melody - the silent version. For them it means whatever they want it to mean.
There was a time when I hoped they would change but... ...all they change is what they mean.
They fleece the sheep of Jesus.
They like change, loose change from every sheep they get their hands on.
But....... there is still time, time to listen and repent.
We ourselves also need to look in the mirror of God's word and refine ourselves, every day.
To show our King Jesus that we want to be vessels of honor.
Yes we have to do the thinking for ourselves because in the end we will have to render an account of our actions for what we have done. Not what someone else has done.
