Transhuman 666?

#1 Post by Marina » 2 years ago

If you get a glass-coated RFID tag injected into your hand, you become 'transhuman' (apparently) or a cyborg. So you can wave your hand around and unlock your or phone or pay for your beer and bus ride. There's a way to go because cyborg standards are not very universal, its a work in progress. But - can you see where this might be heading?... Or should I say foreheading?
Yet to work, such a chip would need to be truly universal and account for potential obsolescence. My own flirtation with implanted technology came to an end when I moved away from London, making an Oyster-equipped hand pointless. Even with a return to London on the cards, I’m thinking twice about returning to my project, since Oyster cards are being phased out.

Such a development may actually be a cause for optimism for implant enthusiasts, however, because instead of Oyster cards, London's transport authority is allowing people to ride the subways and buses using bank cards. It marks the beginnings of a slow move toward a world where everything will be accessed from a single RFID microchip. If that day comes, I can’t think of a safer place to keep it than inside my own body.

(Revelation 13:16-18) . . .And it puts under compulsion all persons, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, that they should give these a mark in their right hand or upon their forehead, 17 and that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name. 18 Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man’s number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Incidentally - the article refers to 'using bank cards' - it is only rumours but there is talk that the banks - all of them have gone - today (Sun 13th July 2021). I don't know what is supposed to have happened but if they have it might mean crypto currency will become the new way of securing loans.

Passwords on Your Skin and in Your Stomach

Link to the source article

At our D11 conference last week, Dugan said she was working to fix “the mechanical mismatch between humans and electronics” by partnering with companies that make authentication more human…

“This pill has a small chip inside of it, with a switch. It also has what amounts to an inside-out potato battery,” she said. “When you swallow it, the acids in your stomach serve as the electrolyte, and they power it up and the switch goes on and off and it creates an 18-bit ECG-like signal in your body. Essentially, your entire body becomes your authentication token.

Once swallowed, Dugan said, “it means that my arms are like wires, my hands are like alligator clips — when I touch my phone, my computer, my door, my car, I’m authenticated in. It’s my first super power. I want that.”
Proteus, by the way, is also pretty far along. It said last month that it had raised $62.5 million in Series F financing from investors including Oracle, Medtronic and Novartis.

“This isn’t stuff that’s going to ship anytime soon, but I think having the boldness to think differently about problems that everybody has everyday is really important for Motorola now.”

But the question is, would people actually do this? How odd would it be to swallow a pill or glue something to your arm to avoid entering a password or pulling out a key? Would you?

Spot any similarities?

Re the WT video - personally, I just don't get going on a picnic with a grapefruit. Unless it is their attempt at an obscure reference to sour grapes.

(Ezekiel 18:2-4) 2 “What does it mean to you people that you are expressing this proverbial saying on the soil of Israel, saying, ‘Fathers are the ones that eat unripe grapes, but it is the teeth of the sons that get set on edge’? 3 “‘As I am alive,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘it will no more continue to be yours to express this proverbial saying in Israel. 4 Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. . .

Further to the grapefruit matter - did you know that by replacing your potato chips with grapefruit as a snack, you can lose up to 90% of what little joy you still have left in your life.

Hang on just let me dig out some more jokes for you Phoebe

:car: A friend of mine has become addicted to brake fluid. He says he can stop anytime he wants.

Yesterday I accidentally rubbed ketchup in my eyes. Now I have Heinzsight.

My friend Hunter has turned vegan, so he's changed his name to Gatherer.

:milk: :cow: Another friend is in trouble with his wife. She asked him to go to the farm shop on the way home and get a gallon of milk and if they had any eggs to get a dozen. He couldn't understand why she was mad when he came home with 12 gallons of milk.

Using an elevator as lavatory is wrong on so many levels.

:cake: Today I burned 2000 calories. That's the last time I leave a batch of brownies in the oven while I'm napping.

And to whoever stole my copy of Microsoft Office. I will find you. You have my Word!

The other day, my friend complained to her husband that he never bought her flowers.

He told her that he didn't even know she was selling flowers. Now she's not speaking to him and he doesn't understand why.

:flowers:

I have a bunch of old batteries to get rid of. If you want them you can have them, free of charge.

Hi Marina,

The Faulty Watchtowers could have several implications.

Could be poor vision, short sighted lookouts on the towers, etc, etc.

Then it could include the inability to vocalize the truth of what is seen.

Regards, Amos.
