My observations:
- huge JW logo in picture
- he said "good to be back again". Apparently it is not the first interview
- one question leads to an answer of 5 or more minutes
- clear that the organisation leads all congregations and their directives are to be followed
- increase mentioned whereas the yearbook shows another story
- meetings are mostly discussion based .... since when?
- more and more long answers
- why do we come to the door....it is love ...(and we have to report otherwise we are counseled)
- and it was love to stop door-to-door.....no, not because the authorities demanded it
- life is sacred .... but we will not allow blood to save your life, we will not allow you to vote where legally mandatory and results in jail etc

in summary...this guy made it a promotion of the organisation. No critical questions at all. You wonder if the interviewer is a JW

Hi Menrov,

Yea, this seems a little like one of those infomercials where one person is selling a product and another person acts as an interested interviewer. They ask all the right questions, and the seller has all the right answers.

To quote Gomer Pyle, "Isn't life funny, Sergeant Carter, isn't life funny!"

I saw a video yesterday or so where a different reporter basically did the same thing with a WT rep. I'm going to look that up and see if the questions and answers are all the same. It might all be canned. Or maybe the WT only agrees to the interview if the reporter agrees to use a WT approved list of questions. I'm curious now.

Here is a Google search on the topic. Notice all the similar story lines, but they are all from different sources. This looks more and more like a PR campaign.

Seriously.....that was not a rigorous interview, it was a full out promotion.
Which is fine, if that’s what they want.

Do they not understand that folk can see through theses kind of set ups?
