Are You Ready for Revelation 8?

Hello all readers who are eagerly awaiting the future fulfillment of the Book of Revelation,

As a senior, I have seen in my lifetime the sign Jesus gave of the last days, and the coming of his Kingdom, which will no doubt be soon enough, although with just a few years remaining for me?? I doubt I will see it.

World Wars 1 and 2 ....the greatest earthquakes on record, widespread ingrained famine, poverty, and hunger, drug and crime violence, and as Paul said, increasing lawlessness, and lovelessness.....I have seen. In fact we are now battling a world pandemic :covid, which still spreads, and has killed millions.

But according to the next part of the prophesies concerning the time of the end, comes Revelation chapter 8:

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

8 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

The Trumpets

6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”

I see the prayers of ‘God’s people’ ascend and so we know we are only one of many who still believe in Yahweh, God, and his Son, and honor and worship in accordance with Christ’s instructions.

Not to say we are part of a RELIGION that claims they are ‘Jehovah’s People’ or ‘God’s Nation’, like the Jews of old who , as a nation were born from Abraham and covenanted with God through Moses as mediator, and became a nation devoted to God....

......but being an individual who prays privately to God, and has a relationship with Him and his Son, and read and worship them without leaning on any religion, although we or anyone may be a member of some religion....

But we need to be a member of the nation that has its citizenship in heaven, and not here on earth...the Kingdom of the Sons of God as Daniels prophesies explained.

So, what can we next expect? Peace? Security?

Do we think the worst is behind us? No.....for the next thing prophesied for this world after the initial woes of war, famine, disease, and widespread death is the prophesies of Revelation 8. According to these prophesies, the earth, “hasn’t seen nothin’ yet’, so a great event woe, and misery is right ahead of us, and we will do well to start getting our affairs in order to prepare for disasters foretold there as this earth has never seen.

When they unfold? We will know as it has been prophesied, and other prophesies afterward are prophesied too, all bad, and horrible just as the ‘4 Horses’- prophesy...all horrible, these will even be worse.

Don’t let any religion or last days -prophet fill your head with thoughts that say, “any day now,” Christ will return. No.....these many prophecies of Revelation 8-12 and more must fulfill first, so this is no time to think Christ is coming any day, but a time to warn everyone that horrible events are on there way, and the only way to succeed through these wicked horrible times is to keep the words of Christ alive in our hearts, and let the Holy Spirit be the blood in our figurative veins.

Make it your goal this year, to read the whole Bible through again, to ready yourself with strength and Spirit to get set for the hard times. Do not let pleasures of life or heavy debt over fine homes ,cars, or material substance hinder you from running the race to become a winner of GOD’s Kingdom.

Teach the children to pray at an early age. Pray at meals, and at night with your family.

Consult Jesus’ teaching and parables before making serious decisions on purchases, where to live, or how to spend vast amounts of time and energy.

Devise your own strategy about how to live your life, spend your time, and how you worship God. Do not allow any religious dogma to pressure you to follow their agendas and doctrines, but consult only Jesus and the Apostles’ teachings to do the future planning and effort of you and your family, because people will use you as they are selfish and see some are placid and weak, and prone to be used to suit other’s plans, not God’s.

Get ready, the future is coming at us, at a rapid pace, and Daniel prophesied it would speed up at a later time.

So the months and years fly by, but slow it down by concentrating of important things Jesus wants us to do, and preach as his Witness.Rev. 12

Become a survivor of these times, who trusted in Christ words, and developed the Holy Spirit tutelage as Jesus instructed In John 13-15.

When I was just a boy I was told we were in the last days, I would always think to myself: Why now, I'm just getting started, that's not very fair for me, why am I being ripped off? Then I learned that tribulation is just a daily event and survival is what I need to be focused on. I didn't make the World the World was not made for me, or was it?

I have seen this World from many sides, top to bottom and roundabout. You ask if I'm ready for Rev 8 and what I can tell you is that I was born ready and not only Rev 8 but everything before it and after it. Whatever yesterday has brought, whatever today brings, and whatever comes tomorrow, I stand ready willing and able to face it.

The only thing that I can trust in this World is God's promises.

This site more than any I have read over the past 13 years, has some of the weirdest discussions...based on the Bible.....mind you...but very far left afield, so far out there it takes lightyears to reach earth.

But peeking back in,I see the same old players are here still!

And you know what? My comments and thoughts are many times viewed as weird as they come.

But that is me. I have an imagination that goes very high and also low, from Hell to Heaven, I have thoughts that I FEEL are born of Biblical texts and implications, inferences, and logical reasoning too.

I have no new things to say here, as I have said it already,

But I wanted to come back to again warn everyone it appears we are quite close to the Rev. 8 prophecies, and I wish to urge everyone to stock in food, wayer, and waters of faith and Holy Spirit: ' living water' because we need all these things to survive the great catastrophies prophesied there.

And the other terrible things to follow the Beasts, and the 'mark' and the arrival or contact from the heavens of the Devils horde of Rev.12....

When these events occur is not the time to go find the'oil' for our lamps, but now in the pre-season.

Yes, we've loosened up on our thought process after time away from the Jw org and the result being freedom of thought. The discussions here are weird yet wonderful.

The Bible means many different things to many different people and that's the amazing thing about it. IMO, the Bible still has some **"unknown unfolding" to do, most everyone feels and thinks it getting very late, the literal and even symbolic signs seem to be a very clear and present danger fogging our atmosphere with limited visibility and it's getting thicker everyday. (Rev 1:7) As you know John S, 13 years is not that much when you factor in the variables. I like coming to this site mainly because of who owns it and also I know who's real and who acts, who talks BS and who tells the facts. (Pr 18:17)

I have no new things to say here, as I have said it already,

What is there new to say? We all have eyes of our own and the heart God gave us, it's up to every person to not let the devil enter into it and to not look upon him. (Matt 4:10)
