Thanks for the heads up on Ron Wyatt. Here is the Wikipedia article on him. Controversial to be sure.

An article on wood hardness: Here.

The article is not directly about Noah's Ark. But one of the complaints I have seen raised up against the Biblical account is that a floating structure of the size of Noah's Ark, made of wood, is impossible.

The article shows that here is a wide variety among wood species regarding wood hardness, and no doubt, other wood characteristics. One could expect that the Creator of the trees, and the rest of the universe, would understand what was needed to build a structure that would survive the flood that He caused.

I doubt that this article, or any other related to the flood, would change the mind of someone who has decided that it couldn't happen. But it is good to have this information cataloged for any who might come across such arguments.

It should also be mentioned that the specific type of tree used for the Ark may not even exist anymore. Many species of plants and animals have gone extinct since the flood. So that one possibility is that a species of tree that would work for an ark can no longer be found.

Here is a post with additional links related to the flood.

Hi Bobcat,

This is not related to the flood but it may change some minds. https://www.uhaul.com/Supergraphics/alb ... he-problem
