Get out of her wrote: 1 year ago Aside from beginning with a prayerful approach to Bible reading and study along with staying completely clear of all extrabiblical materials which are always nothing but "teachings and commands of MEN as doctrine" in theses post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames, it is always very important to take into account the setting and context of any scriptural passage we are considering at the moment. (Eph 6:18) (Mt 15:9 16:6) (Isa 28:8)
Thank you, this is fine and good advice.

In your posts you give careful consideration to the scriptures something not all Christians do.

But it is something all Christians should do every day in order that we may hope to receive God's spirit and blessing.

Really appreciated your encouraging words QFR.
Getting back now to the discussion:

"Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.
Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness since they will be filled. (Mt 5:3, 5)
"And he lifted up his eyes upon his disciples and began to say: "Happy are you poor, because yours is the kingdom of God. Happy are you who weep now, because you will laugh. (Lu 6:20-21)
"Happy are you who mourn, since you will be comforted." (Mt 5:4)

Have you ever on even one occasion found yourself in a situation in which the above scriptures were being considered in a manner that you could describe as more in depth? How about a setting in which they were actually being covered AT ALL by someone who could be recognized as a genuine Bible teacher by any real standard whatsoever? Most likely not; and why WOULD you? After all, do these teachings at least on the surface not appear as relatively simple and obvious, and their meanings as rather self evident? But then again would we really be "rendering our sacred service with our power of reason" to imagine that Jehovah sends his prophets to the earth to essentially play "captain obvious" with people?; or could it rather be the case once again that we are in reality dealing with "carefully concealed sacred secrets" that were only ever intended to be revealed by Jehovah's holy spirit and only in his due time? (Ro 12:1) (Col 2:3) (Mt 13:11) (Ge 40:8) (Pr 2:4) (2 Pe 1:20)

Yes based alone on what we have already covered on the deeper spiritual meanings being conveyed with things like "mourning and "fasting" ("hungering"?) and how such things in turn are directly connected to the meanings involved with ancient observances like the "new moon" and "Sabbath," we should already have begun to realize that there is MUCH more being conveyed here in the words of Jesus than what might initially meet the eye. And as I continue to point out, among the extremely key things involved in our coming to genuinely understand ANY given scriptural passage is to begin attaining the habit of factoring in the setting or prophetic time frame they relate to. In this case we are dealing with the exact same setting or prophetic time frame we once again find ourselves in at this very moment for the final foretold "time" and even more specifically a particular "season" of said "time." (1 Th 5:1-3) (Da 4:23, 32) (Lu 21:24) (Le 26:18)

In other words while the "time" or even "king" we are considering here in the books of Matthew and Luke would in this case be the very end of the fourth of the foretold "seven" that would unfold prior to the Millennial Reign during the foretold period of foreign "captivity and exile" of God's people, the "SEASON" of this "time" on the other hand would even more specifically be the one that Ezekiel identified as that of the sacrificial "bull" as opposed to what was being represented symbolically on this occasion by a "mans face," a "lions" face," or an "eagles" face" respectively. (Re 17:10) (Eze 1:10) (Jer 1:3) This same prophet as well as Bible writers such as the ancient Solomon referred to this same season with terms such as the "time for loves expressions." (Eze 16:8) (Song 1:1) Compare (1 Joh 4:8) This is basically because the priestly sacrifice that is always performed by two of Jehovah's prophets in these time frames who are distinguished with terms such as "two witnesses," "son of man," "prophets to the NATIONS" (as opposed to those sent to Israel whether fleshly or spiritual), as well as "appointed stewards/slaves" (in contrast with the theocratic "kings" and "judges" this "faithful and wise stewardship" will once again result in) is something that is always designed to "inaugurate" or officially finalize a renewed MARRIAGE contract between Jehovah and mankind! (Le 4:3) (Re 11:3, 7, 11, 12) (Eze 2:1) (Jer 1:5) (Mt 24:45 25:1-10) (Lu 22:28-30) (He 9:16-18)

These divine "expressions of love " or "endearment" are simply another way of symbolically representing the "ministry to Christ's domestics" or anointed "brothers" that are ALWAYS initiated by Jehovah in these time frames immediately prior to another foretold "coming of his kingdom." This is the very reason we find Jesus as well as his apostles several decades later prophesying this ministry AND its subsequent death and resurrection to heaven of the "two witnesses" also for "times" even well beyond the first century. (Mt 25:31-40) (Re 11:3, 7, 11, 12 12:1-6) (He 9:26, 27)

Once again at this point it is all about divine FORGIVENESS, RECONCILIATION, COMFORTING, HEALING, RESTORING and the producing of atonement for the repentant ones associated with the PREVIOUS holy marriage or kingdom covenant that had been violated with spiritual adultery or unfaithfulness. (Da 11:30-32) Compare (Mt 24:15, 16) (2 Th 2:1-8) It is a kind of courtship at the hand of "two spies" with the figurative "Rahab" portion of a "great city" that yet again is about to be destroyed altogether for spiritual "prostitution" which on the whole it is NOT repentant for. (Jos 2:1, 14) (Isa 1:21 47:1-4) But how exactly should scriptural information such as this affect our understanding of Jesus words here in Matthew Chapter 5 and Luke 6 that we are currently considering? Well please consider the following questions as we now take a SECOND look at these same Bible verses:

"Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.
Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness since they will be filled. (Mt 5:3, 5)
"And he lifted up his eyes upon his disciples and began to say: "Happy are you poor, because yours is the kingdom of God. Happy are you who weep now, because you will laugh. (Lu 6:20-21)
"Happy are you who mourn, since you will be comforted." (Mt 5:4)

Now that we are in a much better position to genuinely grasp the SETTING, CONTEXT, prophetic "time" frame or even "season" we are considering here with these words, are they not already beginning to take on much more meaning for us? For example now that we understand or have otherwise "caught sight" of the fact that in these post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames our heavenly "bridegroom" has been "taken away" from us and by extension this means that basically everything we have been taught from "EVERY" spiritual "table" SINCE that time amounts to spiritual "vomit" due to what is ALWAYS "put in place" of this Christ when this "apostasy" occurs, could we say our "spiritual NEED" is suddenly becoming much more apparent to us? (Da 11:31) (Isa 28:8) Would a cause for "mourning" as well as "fasting" or even a genuine demonstration of "REPENTANCE" begin to manifest itself as perhaps suddenly much more fitting and appropriate at this point? (Mt 3:1, 2 9:14, 15) (Zep 3:18) (Jon 3:4-10)

Once again a closer consideration of accounts like 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8 and Matthew 25:1-10, 32-40 should help us to understand that at ANY time in which we find ourselves eagerly anticipating another foretold "COMING of our Lord Jesus Christ," it is precisely because this figurative "bridegroom" has been "TAKEN AWAY" by a figurative "thief in the night" which in turn is identified as spiritual adultery or "HARLOTRY" that Jehovah always assigns COMMUNITY responsibility for. (Mt 9:15) (Isa 1:21) (Eze 45:15) Do we really imagine that the prophet Daniel was DIRECTLY responsible for the sins he is repentantly accepting full responsibility for here in the ninth Chapter of Daniel? (Da 9:1-19) What he is repentantly acknowledging here is that this "…sin of the priest, the anointed one…" DOES INDEED "…bring guiltiness upon the PEOPLE," and thus requires yet another "COMMUNION sacrifice." (Le 4:3, 10) (Eze 45:16, 17) (He 9:26-28) If we are ALREADY "saved" as we have long been led to believe by the antichrist, then what need would we have to once again "earnestly LOOK" for this salvation with this "SECOND time" that this "Christ" would "appear"? (He 9:28) (2 Tim 4:3)

Have we rather pridefully allowed this relentless "tickling of the ears" from what these broken "holy covenants" always "PUT IN PLACE" of the "continual sacrifice" in Jehovah's "sanctuary" or "temple" to convince us that yet another one of these "apostasies" HAS NOT reduced us yet again to mere "sleeping" spiritual "widows" and "virgins" who even DESPERATELY "need" to make it to another "wedding" with their heavenly "bridegroom"? (Da 11:30-32) (Mt 25:1, 2, 5, 10) (La 1:1, 4) (Re 21:2, 9) (1 Cor 3:16, 17) (2 Th 2:1-4) Has this rather comfortable or even "sluggish" approach to spiritual things perhaps allowed us to imagine we DO NOT once again qualify as "loathsome eagles" that very much need to once again feed off of the figurative "corpse" or "carcass" that always appears on the earth immediately prior to another "coming of the kingdom" or "day of Jehovah"? (Mt 24:28) (Re 11:8) Do we imagine we are so spiritually "rich" that we do not even REQUIRE the additional figurative "oil" for our "lamps" or the "interest" on our figurative "silver monies?" (Mt 25:3, 4, 26, 27)

The fact is we would all do very well to understand that what Jesus is actually speaking of in accounts like Matthew 5:3-5 is precisely the same thing he refers to also in passages like Matthew 25:31-40. If we are not even prepared to humbly and repentantly RECOGNIZE the extremely desperate spiritual plight that even the ANOINTED "BROTHERS" of Jesus ALWAYS find themselves in during these post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames, then WHY WOULD WE be furnished with the spiritual food and clothing spoken of in these verses or even "marriage garment" mentioned in Matthew 22:11-14?

What Jesus is saying here in accounts like Luke 6:20, 21 is that in these prophetic time frames we will indeed soon be "happy" and even "LAUGHING" if at the moment we DO recognize how very "poor" we are in a spiritual sense, because this humble recognition will move us to do what is necessary to RECEIVE these priceless spiritual treasures? You see we will be demonstrating the repentance involved in SEEKING this figurative "carcass" that Jehovah ALWAYS provides for us in these periods immediately prior to another "coming of the kingdom." (He 9:26, 27)

I would strongly suggest that coming to fully grasp and appreciate what is ACTUALLY being conveyed in the symbolic spiritual language of these passages here in Matthew and Luke would involve things like considering Jesus' words at Luke 5:29-32 in a way we likely never have before.

29 "Also Levi spread a big reception feast for him in his house, and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were with him. 30 At this the Pharisees and their scribes began murmuring to his disciples saying: "Why is it you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners." In reply Jesus said to them: "Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but those who are ailing do. I came to call not righteous people, but sinners to repentance" (Mt 9:10-12) (Mr 2:16, 17) (Lu 5:29-32)

Do we really imagine that Jesus was implying these Pharisees he replied to here were in less need of the spiritual feeding and care he was furnishing for these "tax collectors and sinners" at the moment? Accounts such as found at Luke 18:14 confirm that just the opposite was the case. This same illustration here however makes it clear that basically the REASON why Jehovah considered these "sinners" as relatively righteous was due to the fact that they had begun to humbly and repentantly RECOGNIZE and ACKNOWLEDGE their spiritual "need." By extension they were beginning to do the things that are ALWAYS required for spiritually "sleeping "virgins" and "widows" of a BROKEN holy marriage covenant to have their stolen figurative "bridegroom" returned to them. This is namely to identify the prophets that Jehovah always "appoints" to teach them in these periods and in effect "deposit" themselves and their much more modest amount of holy spirit or "silver monies" at their feet as their disciples. (Mt 24:45 25:27)

Jehovah willing, beginning with my next post let's by all means pick up this discussion with some more passages in the Gospel accounts that seem to never truly be addressed in any meaningful manner by ANYONE.

How about showing with scripture that our Lord Jesus Christ is the angel of the bottomless pit; whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, ...!

Happy are the MILD TEMPERED, since they will INHERIT THE EARTH. (Mt 5:5)
Happy are the MERCIFUL, since they will be shown MERCY. (Mt 5:7)
Happy are those PURE in HEART, since they will SEE GOD. (Mt 5:8)
Happy are the PEACEABLE, since they will be called SONS OF GOD. (Mt 5:9)

Why have I highlighted the above words in these passages? This is because these are precisely the ones that will soon begin to stand out to EVERYONE who succeeds in learning to bear in mind the SETTING or even "season" of ANY of the foretold "times" that a very EXCLUSIVE ministry on the part of Jehovah's appointed shepherds would be occurring on the earth. (1 Th 5:1-3) (2 Th 2:1-3) This is namely the ministry that is always initiated by two prophets of Jehovah or "two witnesses" who AFTER an act of spiritual adultery has resulted in Jehovah once again "divorcing" what now WAS his holy nation begin to "inspect" and "hew" what are now spiritually "sleeping virgins" or even figurative "widows" of this broken marriage covenant to FIRST OF ALL determine who if any among them is rightly disposed to JOIN them in this ministry. (Jer 3:8) (Isa 1:21) (Lu 19:44) (Ho 6:5) (Mal 3:2, 3)

In this "season" of the atoning/sacrificial "bull" or even "loves expressions," the EXCLUSIVE audience or recipients of this ministry are identified with scriptural terms such as "the lost sheep of the house of Israel," "Christ's domestics," or Jesus' "brothers." (Eze 1:10 16:8) (Re 4:6, 7) (Le 4:3, 10) (Mt 5:6 24:45 25:40) In the case of the "few" among these "virgins/maidens" (Mt 22:14 25:1, 2, 10) or POTENTIAL "brides" of the NEXT foretold "marriage feast," (a symbolic reference to a renewed and inaugurated holy marriage covenant) whose "pureness of heart" MOTIVATES them to meet these prophets and their rather "fiery" (Mal 3:2, 3) and seemingly even "offensive" message (Ro 9:33) in a manner that is nonetheless "peaceable" and "mild tempered" will now "discreetly" do the following:

These more "discreet" ones among "Christ's domestics" will JOIN these prophets in what is really a very "MERCIFUL" ministry ("merciful" once again being a reference to this "time of love's expressions") (Eze 16:8) (Song 1:2) to what in reality are spiritually "SLEEPING" and "LOST sheep of the house of Israel" in these time frames even if a LACK of "pureness in heart" prevents most of these "virgins" from humbly and repentantly coming to terms with this unfortunate reality. (Mr 3:14, 15) (Mt 10:5, 6 24:45 25:1, 2, 5) Those among them who now "endure to the end" or otherwise "stick with" these "two witnesses" throughout the "remainder of their trials" now have this broken marriage covenant renewed with them and thus become "BRIDES of the lamb" as opposed to remaining as spiritual "virgins" or even figurative "widows" of a BROKEN holy covenant. (Lu 22:28, 29) (La 1:1, 4) (Isa 54:1-4) (Re 11:3, 7, 11, 12 21:2, 9) (Mt 24:13, 25:10)

You see the moment we genuinely begin to grasp the setting or prophetic time frame being addressed in accounts such as Matthew 5:5-9 and the target AUDIENCE this ministry or even "carefully concealed" divine messages are ALWAYS directed to in these foretold "seasons" of a "time," (a "time" being a FULL cycle of one of the "SEVEN times" that Jehovah's nation would experience both a spiritual birth and subsequent death in connection with renewed and subsequently violated kingdom covenants during the time period of the "appointed times of the nations") this is the same moment we will begin to better appreciate also the LATTER portion or EACH of these verses that I ALSO highlighted. (Lu 21:24) (Jer 15:9)

In other words these "sacred secrets" are being directed SPECIFICALLY to ones who if they actually GRASP them and genuinely PAY HEED to them will soon find themselves experiencing "mercy" to the point of not only "SEEING God" which of course only resurrected SPIRIT creatures or fellow heavenly "kings and priests" of Jesus can do, but by extension will also enjoy the rewards of being "SONS of God" who SHARE with Jesus in his "INHERITING" of full authority and power OVER the "earth." (Ex 33:20) (Mt 13:11) (Re 5:10) (Ps 2:7, 8) (Lu 22:28, 29) (Ro 8:23)

It is for all these reasons that the ones Jesus speaks of here at Matthew 5:5-9 during these post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames such as the one we are once again experiencing will be "happy."

"Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness sake, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.

Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every wicked thing against you for my sake. Rejoice and leap for joy since your reward is great in the heavens. (Mt 5:10-12)

22 "Happy are you whenever men hate you and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast your name out as wicked for the sake of the son of man. 23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for your reward is great in heaven, for those are the same things their forefathers used to do to the prophets." (Lu 6:22, 23)

On this occasion I would like to begin by acknowledging and explaining something that has been pointed out to me on one or more occasions with respect to the writings I often post on websites such as this. Anyone who endeavors to most often actually read my posts would eventually become aware that much of what I have to share would seem as rather repetitive. There are actually three reasons for this, at least one or more of which I have already touched on over the last few years.

First of all, particularly since many people seem quick to point out that they generally recognize my posts as overly deep or otherwise rather difficult to understand, one of my objectives here has ALWAYS been to focus mostly or even strictly on the scriptural teachings I recognize as the MOST IMPORTANT for my dear brothers and sisters to appreciate and accept as genuinely scriptural and factual, and ESPECIALLY those that apply much more to the prophetic time frame we once again find ourselves in.

Secondly, it at some point became exceedingly clear to me that it has largely been BY MEANS of repetition or otherwise the relentless eagerness of our arch enemy to utilize it AGAINST us that FALSE teachings have become so deeply ingrained in basically ALL of us over our lifetimes. This is regardless of what particular stage of recovery we might have individually attained to at this point in time. In other words, since I am forced to realize how clearly EFFECTIVE this tool actually is, rest assured that if anything I am even MORE determined than satan to make good use of it. The DIFFERENCE I will insist is that I am always able to produce overwhelming scriptural support for what are NOT MY TEACHINGS, but rather the TRUE teachings of God's word.

Thirdly, as I continue endeavoring to demonstrate over the years, the more we come to actually comprehend the "carefully concealed sacred secrets" or "hidden treasures" found in the symbolic spiritual language of the Bible, the more we will come to realize that the holy writings THEMSELVES have basically been laid out for us in the very same manner I have just described in the preceding paragraphs. (Col 2:3) (Mt 13:11) (Pr 2:4) What exactly do I mean by this?

The more time, effort and prayer I devote to the Holy Scriptures, the more I recognize that there are in reality VERY FEW teachings to be found in them which are in fact being repeated OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I realize we would at least initially tend to assume there are MANY different teachings we are considering here. As I have pointed out before, essentially the very same messages are actually being repeated over and over again simply in many different WAYS. Aside from the fact that this is undoubtedly yet another manner in which these "sacred secrets" have been "carefully concealed" from all but the eyes of the ones Jehovah ultimately decides to reveal them to by means of his holy spirit, the reason for this became clear to me after experiencing the second of two anointings that occurred between the years of 2010 and 2014.

Even if there are relatively few messages that Jehovah is conveying to his prophets in the holy writings, nonetheless "even a weak thing from God is stronger than men." (1 Cor 1:25) The more I have come to actually grasp what is being conveyed in the Bible, the more I continue to recognize the truth of scriptures like Isaiah 55:8, 9 and Romans 11:33. While the steps that Jehovah continues to take to address and truly rectify the extremely calamitous situation that was created a few millenniums ago with our fore bearers allowing themselves to be deceived and manipulated into rebelling against their loving God likely seems as very basic to our creator, to mere sinful and imperfect humans these actions are something altogether astonishing and unfathomable. What we are actually dealing with in the Holy Scriptures is seemingly countless ways in which various FACETS of what are ultimately the very same phenomenon are not only being highlighted, but also in manner that is designed to help us appreciate and respect their priceless VALUE and IMPORTANCE.

It is only upon eventually coming to factor in ALL of these facets that we find ourselves at least BEGINNING to not only genuinely COMPREHEND the bigger picture here, but also the "unreachably high" level of thinking behind it. This is not even to mention the absolutely astounding degree of love and undeserved kindness involved. (Ps 148:13)

So getting back now to the above teachings of Jesus I have cited on this occasion which I am insisting are "more unaddressed," and for the reason that basically everyone has fallen victim to the strongly promoted notion that Jehovah would send a messenger from heaven itself to inform us of extremely simple things that we should already understand.

Once again, even ASIDE from coming to discern or recognize as well as actually OBEY the divine commands that are always issued to the anointed "virgins" and "widows" in particular during these post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames that we once again find ourselves in at this very moment, my intention here is to continue demonstrating the following when it comes to actually GRASPING the symbolic spiritual language found THROUGHOUT the holy writings:

As I continue to insist, we also very much want to develop a practice of always GENUINELY taking into account the SETTING we are considering in whatever passage of scripture we happen to be reading at any given moment. So the issue here really is how exactly can we do this when it comes to the teachings of Jesus I have cited above?

Beginning with my next post, I would lovingly and respectfully ask my dear brothers and sisters to at least make an effort to determine whether or not I am genuinely able to demonstrate that the ACTUAL setting we are considering here is at least SOMEWHAT different than basically ALL of us might imagine. Moreover when the TRUE setting is more clearly revealed, might it actually have a significant impact on the way we understand these words of Jesus?

Yes I realize that KNOWING me, at least some of you are assuming I will once again be reminding people that the setting in this case is one in which God's nation and by extension true worship is in the very midst of being re-established on the earth with a ministry of "two witnesses" and yet another renewed and inaugurated holy covenant, as well as how all this should factor in to the way we understand these particular words of Jesus. But the fact is I will be getting even more specific on this occasion.

I'd like to warn my dear brothers and sisters in advance that just as is explicitly stated for us in accounts like Romans 9:33 or Malachi 3:2, 3, any genuine effort to TRULY address scriptural passages such as here at Matthew 5:10-12 and Luke 6:22, 23 will be recognized by most people as downright offensive even if it is by no means intended to. Particularly if it would occur in the SETTING that we are dealing with here in the gospel accounts, almost without exception any person who would even dare to demonstrate what is actually being conveyed in divinely inspired teachings like this will only be recognized as very prideful and self righteous as well as even self deluded. This is despite the fact that anyone who would genuinely find themselves in a POSITION to actually do so in a setting of a broken kingdom covenant would be keenly aware that they only qualify as a kind of "loathsome corpse" or figurative "carcass" that they could only hope and PRAY at least a "few" unclean "eagles" would choose to begin feeding from. (Re 11:8 12:14) (Mt 22:14 24:28) (Le 11:13) What is more, rest assured such ones already know in advance that genuinely addressing teachings of Jesus like this would bring down a lot of heat on them as the saying goes.

In this case to begin demonstrating that the messages being conveyed in this spiritual language go even FAR beyond what might appear on the surface, with these verses of Mathew 5:I0-12 and Luke 6:22, 23 in mind, I'd like to start by encouraging people to ponder the following questions:

Since most of us here (for example) were formerly members of the Watchtower organization, did we not in at least many cases waste even the better portion of our entire LIVES believing that this "persecution for righteousness sake" was something we were experiencing for actually BEING a member of this organization? Were we not in fact often reminded of that very thing by religious leaders who at the same time continually failed to acknowledge that really EVERY religious group or denomination is persecuted for their beliefs and practices? We of course realize now that if anything what we were always led to recognize as "persecution" and opposition that would lead to a "great reward in heaven" was in at least some sense actually warranted in our case. This is because we now realize this persecution was NOT "for righteousness sake."

But now that we are no longer a part of the organization or are perhaps at least in the PROCESS of no longer comprising a member, NOW we understand what this persecution Jesus is speaking of is all about, don't we? After all we are currently experiencing no shortage of "hatred, exclusions and reproaches" by seemingly countless "Jehovah's Witnesses" for no longer buying into many of their beliefs, teachings and practices. Isn't that so?

Well the fact is if this is the way we now choose to understand these particular words of Jesus we are STILL rather far from truly grasping them, and once again this can be easily demonstrated even also with simply a closer examination of these verses THEMSELVES, even ASIDE from a genuine consideration of the setting and context they are found in. Particularly in the case of any who might doubt this claim, let's by all means begin by taking a closer look at these words of Jesus:

So WHO exactly is it REALLY that Jesus is addressing with these particular words, and in what specific SETTING or prophetic time frame has this specific audience found themselves in? Moreover as we GENUINELY contemplate these questions in light of what is likely the FIRST time we have EVER taken a closer and more careful look at these verses, here is yet ANOTHER question we would do well to consider:

What really was the SOURCE or at least the PRIMARY source of the opposition and persecution that JESUS was experiencing during his 3 1/2 year ministry, as well as those who ultimately chose to JOIN him in this work? If our "leader" or "foundation cornerstone" himself was personally performing this same ministry on the earth in the flesh right now at this very moment, would the brunt of the opposition and mistreatment experienced by him perhaps be coming from members of the Watchtower organization?

There are AT LEAST two or three things that would make this kind of reasoning rather problematic the moment we might actually begin obeying the command to "render our sacred service with our power of reason" as well as "carefully examine the scriptures daily as to whether these things are so." (Ro 12:1) (Ac 17:11) First of all, we already know that almost without exception the people who identify themselves as "Jehovah's Witnesses" do not even ASPIRE to a heavenly hope or "reward" AT ALL, let alone one that would position them as among those this "kingdom would BELONG to." (Lu 12:32) (Joh 10:16) Secondly, even in the case of the ones among this organization that DO identify with such a hope, the fact is we are still left facing a serious dilemma if we would choose to recognize even THEM as the target audience of Jesus here, and by extension the ones he would normally receive opposition from. So what exactly is the problem in THIS case?

When it comes to the issue of establishing or even RE-establishing true worship on the earth and by extension true worshipers, the ENTIRE HISTORY of Jehovah's nation has made something exceedingly clear that really should only be self evident to any logical mind. In the case of every single one of these foretold "seven births of the barren woman," these "comings of the kingdom" have begun with the re-instituting of a GENUINE theocratically appointed SHEPHERDING fold. (Jer 15:9)

Yes the setting we are dealing with here in Matthew 5 and Luke 6 is the same one we are ALWAYS considering immediately prior to another foretold "coming of the kingdom" which of course would INCLUDE the Millennial Reign! Just as Jesus himself foretold immediately before his death in 33 CE, the only GENUINE ministry that would be occurring on the earth AT ALL in these time frames would be one targeted exclusively towards his own spirit anointed "DOMESTICS" or "BROTHERS." (Mt 24:45 25:40) Compare (Mt 10:5, 6 23:38) However since any genuine anointing of HOLY spirit in these post-apostasy/pre-kingdom time frames would soon result in these "brothers" "catching sight of the disgusting thing" that yet another broken "holy covenant" has placed in the "temple" spoken of in accounts like 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17 and prompted them to "flee to the mountains" in some manner, we would do quite well to consider the question of where we would even FIND what now qualify as these "sleeping" spiritual "widows" or "virgins." (Mt 24:15, 16 25:1, 2, 5) (La 1:1, 4) (Da 11:30-32) (2 Th 2:1-4)

Assuming we would ever even choose to humbly ACCEPT an assignment from a genuine prophet of Jehovah in the first place to share with them in their ministry, would our quest to find these "lost sheep of the house of Israel" perhaps drive us to the "Kingdom Halls" of the Watchtower organization or for that matter the churches of ANY organized religion in a time frame in which we are not allowed to even "TOUCH" the spiritual "vomit" we would be dealing with there? (Am 3:7) (2 Cor 6:17) (Isa 28:8) (Mt 16:6)

You see just as was illustrated for us as far back as prophetic dramas such as Moses being pictured as ATTEMPTING to serve as an advocate of his fellow Hebrews even some 40 years PRIOR to the mass exodus but instead soon finding himself forced to "flee to the wilderness" to serve as a shepherd over the "little flock" of "Jethro;" (Ex 2:11-15) (Lu 12:32) or the way that a newly anointed shepherd boy or "virgin" by the name of David initially endeavored to play a kind of "NEW song on a harp" for a king that he did not yet realize was completely apostate and soon found himself compelled to essentially do the same; (1 Sa 16:13, 16 19:9, 10) (Rev 14:2,3) (Eze 33:32) here is yet another thing or two we have been well programmed to overlook when it comes to the ministries of the "two witnesses," INCLUDING the ones of the first century.

First of all do we imagine that JESUS or for that matter even John the Baptist was unaware of the completely apostate condition of what once again now WAS Jehovah's nation when they embarked on their ministries in the early part of the first century? As had of course ALWAYS been the case, basically the very PURPOSE of this "son of man" entity is to RESTORE true worship to the earth. (Eze 3:1-4) (Re 10:9-11) So why then did Jesus begin his ministry right inside the synagogues of apostate Judaism?

This would be for the very same reason he spent the first several years of his life in EGYPT! (Mt 2:15) Not only did such things serve as further symbolic representations of the humble and repentant acceptance of full responsibility of the "Sodom"-like spiritual uncleanness and guiltiness that ALWAYS comes with a broken holy covenant and which the "two witnesses" must ALWAYS accept upon themselves in order for this spiritual death to be REMOVED from the earth with the "crushing" of their flesh upon the completion of their ministries, but Jesus himself was illustrating the fact that just as was true of ancient David, these newly anointed "virgins" would EXPERIENCE their anointings while already AMONG this now apostate nation. (Re 11:3, 8, 11, 12) (Le 3:4 16:10) (Isa 53:10) In most cases at least, they would not even initially KNOW that another act of spiritual adultery on the part of Jehovah's earthly shepherds had yet again transformed what HAD been a "faithful town" into a great spiritual "prostitute." (Isa 1:21 10:6) It would basically BE this very anointing that would allow them to soon "CATCH SIGHT" of this disastrous situation in the first place. (Mt 24:15, 16)

Yes we really should not find this any more perplexing than the fact that BOTH Jesus AND John the Baptist soon found themselves performing their ministries in "the wilderness" or "lonely places" surrounded with the very same type of people that David did when he "escaped to the cave of Adullum." (Lu 4:22-30) (Mr 1:45) (Mt 3:1-4) (1 Sa 22:1, 2) No this does not mean that we need to start heading for the desert with our back packs and sleeping bags. This symbolic spiritual language is simply pointing to the fact that in ANY prophetic time frame where we again feel compelled to eagerly anticipate another foretold "coming of the kingdom" or a kind of deliverance from what now feels very much like oppressive "slavery" and bondage, HOPEFULLY we have also "caught sight" of our desperate need to "get out from among and separate ourselves" from the meetings and false religious literature of ALL organized religion, not to mention the POLITICS of this demonic world. (2 Cor 6:17) (Re18:4)

So now assuming we have actually done this just as was demonstrated for us by our leader and exemplar in a setting (once again) immediately prior to another foretold "birth of the barren woman," and assuming we actually ARE experiencing all these reproaches, lies, humiliations and oppositions Jesus is speaking of here in Matthew 51-12 and Luke 6:22, 23, then have we suddenly found ourselves in a much better position to TRULY understand what particular "persecution for righteousness sake" we are dealing with in this case? (1 Sa 2:5) (Jer 15:9)

You see if we are not even ANYWHERE NEAR the politics and false religions of this demonic world, then WHERE exactly is this opposition coming from that Jesus made perfectly clear we SHOULD be experiencing? Have we perhaps forgotten that one of the primary ways this particular persecution and even BETRAYAL was "typified" for us was with the ancient Joseph and the manner in which his eleven BROTHERS sold him into slavery and bondage when he for his part had only come to check on their well being and that of their herds? (He 8:5) (Ge 37:12-36)

Yes just as Jesus himself made perfectly clear in his "Sermon on the Mount" shortly before his death, it at least SHOULD be our own spirit anointed "BROTHERS" that we are ministering to in a prophetic time frame of a broken holy kingdom covenant, assuming we have even ACCEPTED such an assignment either directly from Jehovah as a prophet or otherwise from one of these genuinely "appointed" teachers. (Mt 24:45 25:40) (Mr 3:13-15) (Am 3:7) If or when we actually DO begin having a share in disseminating the spiritual "food" and "clothing" spoken of in accounts like Matthew 25:34-40, rest assured we will soon enough begin experiencing the "persecution for righteousness sake" that Jesus is speaking of in Luke 6:22, 23 and Matthew 5:10-12. We should nonetheless be "happy" over it however because of the promised "reward" for successfully bearing up under it.

9 "You must pray then this way:

"Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified, 10 LET YOUR KINGDOM COME, let your will take place as in heaven, also upon earth." (Mt 6:9, 10)

5 "These twelve Jesus sent forth giving them orders: "Do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter into a Samaritan city; 6 but instead go continually to the LOST sheep of the HOUSE of Israel. 7 As you go preach saying, "THE KINGDOM OF THE HEAVENS HAS DRAWN NEAR." (Mt 10:5-7)

18 "And Jesus approached and spoke to them saying, "ALL AUTHORITY has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of ALL THE NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Mt 28:18-20)

Why have I cited the above scriptural passages?

Why have I highlighted certain words in them?

Upon comparing them side by side in particular, why do they seem rather contradictory to most people if not basically EVERYONE?

The reason is because we yet again find ourselves dealing with the consequences of one of the foretold settings or prophetic time frames directly in between a spiritual death of Jehovah's holy nation and a subsequent re-birth or "coming." Once again the scriptures refer to these time periods with symbolic terms such as a "baptism of holy spirit and fire," a "planting and harvest" or a "sowing" with it's subsequent "reaping." (Mt 3:11 9:37, 38) (1 Cor 15:23, 35-40) (Re 14:15, 16) There were foretold all along to be "seven" of these events in a span of time identified as "the appointed times of the nations" ALONE, or otherwise a time frame in which these spiritual deaths and subsequent "births of the barren woman" would unfold in conjunction with a "standing up" and a subsequent "fall" (beginning always with a SPIRITUAL fall and culminating ultimately with a literal one) of seven foreign world powers. (Ge 41:22-24) (Le 26:18-20) (2 Ki 5:1, 10, 14) (Da 4:23, 32 7:4) (Re 17:10 18:2) (Lu 21:24) (Jer 15:9) (Isa 54:1-4 66:7, 8)

The point here is that DURING these interim periods which I often refer to as post-apostasy/pre-kingdom, the truth of the scriptures by and large is simply not taught due to a massive withdrawal of Jehovah's Holy Spirit. This removal of Jehovah's support means that mere "teachings and commands of MEN as doctrines" now prevail regardless of the intentions or motives of the various ones involved in any teaching efforts. (Mt 15:9) In fact by the time that one or two of Jehovah's prophets arrive on the earth to renew yet another broken kingdom covenant, FALSE teachings are so deeply ingrained even amongst the anointed ones that the TRUTH of God's word if anything seems most often like heresy that demands no less than persecution and opposition. This is largely the reason that the rather humiliated prophets the scriptures refer to with terms like "son of man," "prophet to the nations," "two witnesses" or even "appointed slaves" are most often even murdered at some point during the course of the relatively brief ministries they perform in these time frames. (Eze 2:1) (Jer 1:5) (Mt 23:35 24:45) (Re 11:3, 7, 11, 12)

Assuming we have even progressed to the point of actually endeavoring to logically think them through (which is much more rare than we might imagine in these time frames), among the reasons they often begin to appear as somewhat mysterious, confusing or even contradictory is because we have long been conditioned or even programmed to overlook very key changes in their various settings. (Ro 12:1) For example while the above verses cited there at Matthew 6:9, 10 and 10:5-7 would be perfectly applicable to the time period or setting we find ourselves in at this very moment, (assuming we are actually a prophet of Jehovah or otherwise have been assigned a ministry by one) the subsequent words found at Matthew 28:18-20 would not.

What we very much need to understand here is that while the teachings or even commands of Jesus that we find in the two initial accounts were uttered in a setting in which the "kingdom" or holy nation was in the PROCESS of being re-established on the earth (and in fact for the fifth of the "seven times" it WOULD be during the "gentile times"), the words found at Matthew 28:18-20 on the other hand were issued after this process had once again been completed. It was a RESURRECTED Jesus that issued the commands there in this case, which of course meant that the holy covenant had not only been renewed, but also inaugurated with a subsequent priestly sacrifice. (Lu 22:28:29) (He 9:16-18)

Yes the "KINGDOM" had once again actually "COME" just as was explicitly confirmed by ones like the Apostle Paul at Colossians 1:13. That being the case, even if as per usual (at least during this foretold period of foreign "exile and captivity") it would prove a rather modest manifestation compared to the Millennial Reign, it nonetheless would ALWAYS possess the authority and power necessary to begin ministering NOT MERELY to a "little flock" of "Christ's domestics" or "brothers," but now also to a "…GREAT CROWD that no man was able to number, out of ALL nations and tribes and peoples and tongues…" (Lu 12:32 21:24) (Joh 10:16) (Re 7:9) (Mt 24:45 25:40) Moreover what would once again qualify as GENUINE power and authority to shepherd and teach would as always continue until this holy marriage covenant would once again be violated with spiritual adultery or "harlotry." (Re 17:1) (Isa 1:21)

On this fifth of the foretold "seven times," scriptures like 1 John 2:18 and Revelation 17:10 make it clear that this "apostasy" or spiritual "fall" that ones like Daniel and the Apostle Paul spoke of had indeed unfolded yet again by the end of the first century. (Da 4:23, 11:30-32) (1 Th 2:1-8) It would undoubtedly prove very beneficial to us to appreciate that on this occasion and ONLY this occasion, the span of time foretold to elapse between this fifth foretold spiritual death of God's nation and its 6th foretold "birth" was rather extensive. So much so in fact that it would inspire the anxiously posed question we find at Daniel 8:13:

"HOW LONG will the vision of the daily sacrifice and the transgression causing desolation, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?" (Da 8:13)

At least by now we should be aware that whether or not the holy nation would be manifested in the form of the Millennial Reign, we can determine the answer to this question by simply taking note of when a new world power would appear on the earth. In this particular case mankind would not witness such a thing until kingdom of Great Britain rose to world dominance. Assuming we are paying attention to the words of the prophet Jeremiah as to when this foretold "exile" and "captivity" of Jehovah's people would have begun, we should therefore find the answer given to this above question as no surprise whatsoever:

14 "So he said to me: "Until two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings: and the holy place will certainly be brought into its right condition." (Da 8:14)

Since the reign of King Jehoiakim that Jeremiah points to as when this "exile" would begin was actually 609 BC, we now merely need to apply the "day for a year" formula to this number of 2,300 to determine precisely when "holy ones" would once again reside on the earth. (Nu 14:34) (Eze 4:6) We can be certain it is no coincidence that this calculation points directly to the very end of the 1600s as to when a holy kingdom covenant was once again renewed by yet another ministry or "prophesying" of "two witnesses" and their subsequent priestly sacrifice. In fact this "6th" foretold occasion is covered in the prophetic/symbolic language we are considering there at Revelation 11:3, 7, 11, and 12. Compare (Re 9:13)

As would ALWAYS be the case in a setting immediately prior to a "coming of the kingdom" or "birth" of the figurative "barren woman," this very brief and unusual ministry would have been directed exclusively towards what is ALWAYS created by an act of spiritual adultery on the part of Jehovah's appointed earthly shepherds. The complete spiritual "desolation" inflicted upon Jehovah's holy "sanctuary" or "temple" by these "apostasies" means that Jehovah's prophets are once again dealing with spiritually "sleeping" "widows and virgins" when it comes to this "feeding of Christ's domestics and the giving them their food at the proper time." (1 Cor 3:16, 17) (Da 11:30-32) (Mt 24:45, 25:1, 2, 5, 34-40) (La 1:1, 4)

It is specifically these anointed ones that Jesus is addressing AND referencing there at Matthew 10:5-7 when he describes them as "LOST sheep of the HOUSE of Israel." You see just as the Apostle John made perfectly clear, actual "BRIDES of the lamb" "do not need ANYONE teaching them." (1 Joh 2:27) (Re 21:2, 9) "BRIDES" of this heavenly "bridegroom" exist on the earth when Jehovah's kingdom has actually "COME." Until such time, this "house" referred to there at Matthew 10:6 is actually "abandoned," just as Jesus himself makes clear at Matthew 23:38. It is "abandoned" by the "bridegroom" because the spiritual adultery committed by the "bride" and the forfeiture of divine authority and power it results in ALWAYS compels this figurative "man of noble birth" to once again "travel abroad to secure kingly power for himself." (Lu 19:12) Just as was demonstrated for us time and again however, this return of the "bridegroom" always occurs in two stages. It begins with a GENUINE scriptural ministry or even "prophesying" to the anointed "virgins." (Re 11:3) (Am 3:7)

Are we personally beginning to attain to a much better understanding of scriptures such as the three accounts cited at the beginning of this discussion? If so, this is simply AMONG the things that should help us appreciate that just as is stated there at Matthew 10:7, the "kingdom of the heavens has DRAWN NEAR."

Re: The more unaddressed teachings of Jesus

18 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you." (Joh 15:18, 19)

Yet another example here of the teachings of Jesus which according to countless religious leaders are to be recognized by us as so very "simple" and easy to understand; things that a mere child could grasp. A seemingly endless stream of prophets ASIDE, once again we are expected to believe that Jehovah went so far as to send even his most prized angel to the earth to minister for 3 1/2 years so that we could finally understand things that mere children could easily grasp. No need to even bother explaining it, since its meaning is self-evident.

Nevertheless we do in fact understand this teaching of Jesus here in John Chapter 15 don’t we? After all we (in the case of most of us here at least with a background in the Watchtower organization) have repeatedly been informed that this is all about having no share whatsoever in the politics and wars of this demonic system of things that is facing divine destruction. But is it really that simple? And if it were, that of course means we have no difficulty at all in reconciling scriptures like Acts Chapter 10 where we learn about a "a devout and God fearing army officer" who as a reward for his "many gifts of mercy to the people" and "continual supplications to God" his was led by Jehovah himself to the Apostle Peter for more understanding and knowledge of spiritual things. (Ac 10:1-5) It's no problem at all for us to explain why Paul speaks of "holy ones" right among the household of Caesar himself around the year of 60 CE who wished to "send their greetings" to the Philippian congregation. (Php 4:22) This is not to mention that ones like the prophet Daniel were among the foremost rulers of ancient Babylon for even several decades, or the fact that Jehovah himself identified King Cyrus of the Medo-Persian Empire as one of his "anointed shepherds." (Da 2:48, 49) (Isa 44:28 45:1) Clearly things are not quite as simple as we have been led to believe.

So the question here obviously is what really is being conveyed to us here in this particular teaching of Jesus. Are we perhaps to stay clear of the extremely corrupt political and military affairs of this demonic world while at the same time immersing ourselves in what are obviously false religious teachings and practices of religious groups like the Watchtower organization? Is that what it means to "keep ourselves without spot from the world"? (Jas 1:27) And even if we actually do manage to "get out from among and separate ourselves" from something we begin to recognize even as a "disgusting thing," how do we actually know if we have indeed come to obey the command to no longer even "TOUCH" this "unclean thing," and thus whether or not we have succeeded in once again being "taken in" by Jehovah? (2 Cor 6:17) (Mt 24:15, 16)

Well beginning with my next post let's by all means embark on a genuine scriptural consideration of these verses here in John Chapter 15 along with these questions that would naturally occur to us by actually following the divine direction laid out for us in scriptures like Romans 12:1 and Acts 17:11.

Re: The more unaddressed teachings of Jesus

#19 Post by Get out of her » 1 year ago

The fact is that as long as we are not actually taught the truth of the Bible, it will continue to seem confusing, contradictory and mysterious to us. First of all, as I continue to point out as well as demonstrate, we have all long been HEAVILY and RELENTLESSLY programmed by false religious leaders to routinely overlook extremely key changes in whatever setting or context we might be considering in the scriptures at any given moment. But to even begin unraveling all the confusion that has been sown into this particular subject by our great adversary and his minions, we would first need to scripturally establish what Jesus is referring to with the word –"world" here in the first place. (Joh 15:18, 19) The moment we can determine this, we can by extension now grasp what is meant by the "FOUNDING" of this "world" which is also referred to with terms such as the "beginning of the creation by God." (Mt 25:34) (Re 3:14)

You see as long as we fail to discern the difference between a founding or creating of the earth and mankind in a LITERAL/PHYSICAL sense from a more FIGURATIVE or SPIRITUAL creation, which by contrast is most often referred to with terms such as the "world" or "system of things," there are MANY scriptures that will continue appearing as confusing and contradictory to us. For example in accounts like Psalms 104:5 we learn that the "earth will never be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever." And yet in other passages we find that not ONLY the earth but even the HEAVENS would be things that would "perish," and in fact much like "clothing" or a "garment" would "wear out" and be "replaced." (Ps 102:25, 26) (He 1:10-12)

One of the things we very much need to bear in mind first of all that the AUTHOR of the Bible is of course not a fleshly or material being, and in fact the entire focus of the holy writings is basically ALWAYS on "SPIRITUAL" matters or what is sometimes referred to as "HEAVENLY things." (He 8:5) (Eph 6:11, 12) (He 12:22) The more deeply and prayerfully we dig into the scriptures, the more we will eventually begin to discern NOT ONLY that it is almost always a more figurative or spiritual earth AND heavens that we are considering, but that this "garment" would actually "wear out" and be "changed" "seven times" in the span of time identified as the "appointed times of the nations" ALONE. (Da 4:23, 32) (Lu 21:24) EACH of these "changes" would actually qualify as a new "beginning," a "birth," a "RE-creation," or even a "founding of the world." (Jer 15:9) (Mt 19:28) (Re 3:14) Are scriptures like John 1:1 and Colossians 1:18 finally beginning to make sense to you rather than seeming contradictory?

Even in a SPIRITUAL sense however we would do well to understand that the scriptures speak of a time in which this "creation" or even kingdom would be established "forever." (Re 22:5) This prophecy will of course be fulfilled the moment that ALL of the appointed shepherds of Jehovah's nation are comprised of "incorruptible" and "immortal" spirit beings who would no longer even be CAPABLE of violating the holy covenant that always establishes or even "RE-creates" this "world" being spoken of here. (1 Cor 15:51-53) (Joh 15:18, 19) But even if we are achieving success here in discerning the distinction between the literal/material creation of the earth and mankind the scriptures sometimes speak of as opposed to a more figurative or spiritual one that they in fact MOST OFTEN refer to, there is still the issue that I raised at the beginning of this discussion. Are we actually paying attention to what are in fact VERY CRITICAL changes in the setting or context we happen to be considering at any given moment when we read the Bible?

For example, in accounts like Matthew 24:24 and 25:34-40 we find Jesus speaking prophetically about his fellow anointed "brothers" or "domestics" finding themselves in desperate need not only of being fed and watered in a spiritual manner, but even "clothed." We of course have always been led to understand that these are the very ones who are supposed to be FURNISHING this spiritual sustenance and clothing! Therefore scriptural accounts such as 1 Thessalonians 5:1 and 1 John 2:27 make much more sense to us. What we have long been trained by the antichrist to overlook however is that while the initial two accounts here are found in a setting of a spiritual DEATH of Jehovah's nation due to another adulterous violation of the holy marriage covenant on the part of its appointed spiritual shepherds, the latter two are found in a setting of another foretold "BIRTH" or "re- creation."

The mere fact that we are currently struggling to discern such things is proof enough that we INDEED ARE currently in one of these foretold settings in which we DESPERATELY NEED another "founding of the world." It should come as no surprise therefore that the entire earth is currently experiencing the "pangs of distress" upon a kind of "pregnant woman" that Paul speaks of there in 1st Thessalonians which will very shortly manifest itself in the FINAL foretold "birth" of this figurative "barren woman." (1 Th 5:1-3) (Jer 15:9) (Isa 54:1-4) In turn it should also now make perfect sense to us that just as was occurring at the hand of "two witnesses" or "appointed slaves" in the early part of the century immediately prior to the FIFTH foretold "birth" of this "barren woman," (which ones like Paul referred to as the "kingdom of the son of his love"), we find scriptural prophesies that point to this same phenomenon unfolding in connection with FUTURE manifestations of God's kingdom. (Col 1:13) (Re 11:3, 7, 11, 12 12:5 13, 7, 8 14:15, 16) (He 9:26-28)

In other words, for the final foretold time we have found ourselves in the very same setting we are considering in the four Gospel accounts, or otherwise that in which Jehovah sends one or two prophets to "spy out" or "inspect" what in these settings amounts to spiritually "sleeping virgins" AS OPPOSED to "brides of the Lamb." (Mt 25:1, 2, 5) (Lu 19:44) (Re 21:2, 9) (Jos 2:1) This is basically for the purpose of DETERMINING who if ANY among them will INDEED WILL be spiritually "fed" AND "clothed" with the figurative "wedding garment" required to actually attend the "marriage feast" spoken of symbolically in accounts like Matthew 25:10. (Mt 22:11-14) This of course is a symbolic reference to the fact that the broken holy marriage covenant will be renewed with them just as was spoken of in accounts like Haggai 1:12, 13 or Luke 22:28, 29. If so, on this final foretold occasion these people will be included among the ones Paul spoke of prophetically in accounts like 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. If not, then just as Jesus foretold in Matthew 25:29, even the relatively modest degree of figurative "oil" or "talents" they were initially endowed with or otherwise what they- "HAVE will be taken from them,"…. (Mt 25:3, 4, 29) It is now the EARTHLY hope that these ones would do well to begin earnestly striving for.

So in the meantime therefore, the question is how exactly can the anointed ones in particular insure that they are "NO PART OF THE WORLD"? Well particularly in view of how actually doing so was demonstrated for us time and again with prophetic dramas such as with the preaching work of ancient Noah or the ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus in the early part of the first century, in the end, the answer to this question can really be narrowed down to simply asking ourselves yet another question or two:

How exactly did merely seven people on the entire earth succeed in demonstrating this at the time of the global deluge of Noah's day? How exactly did the 11 people who had the broken kingdom covenant renewed with them in 33 CE succeed in being recognized by Jehovah as "no part of the world"? (Lu 22:28, 29) Was it not ultimately by obeying the command to "keep on the watch" for a true prophet of Jehovah, and then to subsequently "LISTEN" and pay heed to all that they had to say? (Mt 24:42) (Hag 1:12, 13) (Joh 1:41) (Am 3:7)

Of course in our case at least, if we had already obeyed commands such as found at Matthew 16:6, 24:15, 16, second Corinthians 6:17, and Romans 12:1, would it not be much more likely that we would in turn pay heed to the command at Mathew 24:42? Whether we choose to accept it or not, the sobering reality is that by continually allowing ourselves to have our ears "tickled" with the relentless river of false teachings spoken of in accounts like Revelation 16:13, 14, we are lulled into never fully coming to terms with VERY CLEAR messages such as found at Matthew 24:37. (2 Ti 4:3)
