"The Chosen" (Series)

Thought I'd share this free online tv series which is currently airing (two seasons have been made so far with a third on the way soon).

It's crowd funded by donations, and in my opinion is one of the best, if not "the" best depiction of Jesus I've ever seen in media. He's very human and so are the Apostles, making the characters very relatable. The series takes a couple of "artistic liberties" with the character depictions, but nothing that is really contradictory of the Gospel. The series is mainly told from the point of view of the Apostles, and how Jesus enters their lives. It's a very emotion stirring series, and I wanted to share it here.

(A side note. For anyone squeamish, I want to just say there are occasional scenes with blood, but nothing extremely grotesque).

I finished watching the first two seasons, which is all that is available as of now. I was very moved. It was so well-done, and very respectful of the Bible account. Like was mentioned, there are a few artistic liberties taken, but none out of sync with what the Bible says. Back stories are provided for certain characters, things like that. I found myself tearing up repeatedly, especially during the miracle scenes.
