Open Heaven

We are reaching for you Lord please don’t look us over or pass us by

We need you, Lord, to open heaven; for you God the Most High!

Open the floodgates of heaven and shower us with your affection

Let the rain be a downpour of your mercy and unfailing direction

Let all who thirst be drenched by the peace from above to empower us to be still

Let all who hunger for more of You be filled with holy revelation of your divine will

We need your presence Father and ask that you send a refreshing of your Spirit

Wash us over Lord with brimming joy and overflowing peace: we need to feel it !

Save us from drowning in our fears and roll back the sadness of our tears

Help us to remember your goodness throughout our years to draw us near

Send us soaring to new glories and new heights in You; move the mountains in our way

Send the Word O’God, to hold back the rolling seas of troubles that threaten our faith

We are reaching for you Lord please don’t look us over or pass us by

You reach for us Lord in the deepest of pits and we praise you God the Most High!
