The Cross has been Stood

[Stranger]

A short poem I jotted down some years ago:


Formed solidly from a tree of wood
The Word manifested to do what he could.

Lessons learned and lessons lost
Jesus came to pay the cost.

We have all witnessed and cried
for the blood of the Christ
that came there and Died.

The sin and the lie cannot be hid
no man can do
What Jesus Christ did.

He gathered together that lost sheep herd
from the glorious wonder of God's true Word.

He's invited us to come and take life's water free
Just don't forget about him and that tree.

Beautiful poem, and Jesus was resurrected and he is sitting next to his Father on the throne in heaven, so after the sadness and pain, there is tremendous joy.
