In an ongoing slew of problems with the recent upgrade it seems that the "Preview" facility no longer works. This is of course a big issue. (Thank you to leaving_quietly for bringing this problem to my attention)
If you click the preview button it will likely appear that you've lost your post. If this happens you should be able to click the back button in your browser to retrieve your content.
In general it appears that there may be a mismatch with certain settings used by our current host, and the latest updates to the board software. It's possible that they cannot be resolved with this particular host according to some sources. This will create a real headache if it is true. I'll update here when I have more information.

It looks like preview is back online. Yesterday we were having to choose between having errors at login or a working preview, but now it seems we've got both.
I'm not going to count my chickens before they're hatched but it may be that the final problem since the upgrade has now been resolved.
