Stranger's gonna play an upbeat tune to tell you not to look down while your earworm is taking you uptown.

NWT: "My people we certainly be silenced because there is no knowledge. Because the knowledge is what you yourself has rejected, I shall also reject you from serving as a priest to me, and [because] you keep forgetting the law of your God, I shall forget your sons even I."

Is it fair enough to wonder if thorns will be on a rose in paradise?

The Church of Rome and Chrome have at least two things in common.
They are both nice and shiny on the outside and dark and dingy on the inside.

The reason why many don't leave is because they have invested so much in a losing game. They should pull out but they are hoping the value of the organisation will go up again.

Yes that's true. We often had it in talks that people had been praying then we turfed up on their doorstep like the answer to a prayer. Awww. So sad - speaking personally I went out with all the right intentions. I only showed people what the Bible said.

One of my calls, who is now a friend says she viewed me a someone who thought I was a JW. I like that - I see what she meant now. There were quite a few in my old cong like that! Maybe more to come out - we'll see.

The last time I was out in the field WT's were a dime and most of the time you would have to throw in the Awake with it, kind of like a bonus item to get the person behind the door to buy it.

That's a very nice commendation, I share her view. From the angle I'm perched from I see why you hold it in such high regard.

I hope one day you know what I mean when I tell you in my own words:
"I'm not gonna shuffle Scriptures with you, when you're ready to deal don't offer me to cut them, I'll just tell you to run em". (1Cor 15:24)

Well when you gotta deal with this you might appreciate a few facts you can grip and check the veracity of. Unless you want to end up as a Druid or get all Star Wars in a double crossing space station called Watchtower which puts you in a spin.

Here you see someone experiencing the full rest that can be achieved by attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall (now online Zoom meeting). This futuristic video shows the yawning of a new era as the fast asleep Pan Am passenger looks like he's going to smack straight into a double cross.

Too much levity not enough gravity.

(1 Thessalonians 5:21-22) Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine. 22 Abstain from every form of wickedness.
