So that is why God sends an operation of error to them, that they may get to believing the lie
, [cf 2Pe 3:15,16]. Yes, this lawless one, (2Thess 2:4) was already busy at that time. But at the time of the 8th beast, (Dan 7:7,8, 25; 8:24,25; Rev17:11), he will have his heyday and come to full bloom. At that time this beast that rises out of the abyss will kill the two witnesses. When this happens those serving at the altar will Jubilate.
If I understand correctly, you are saying the two witnesses being killed is future. This seems to make sense if the trumpet blasts are future (after the sealing of the 144K), and immediately before the end. I've posted elsewhere some support for this. Right before the context of the two witnesses at the end of Rev 10 - the angel tells *John* that needs to prophesy again. I suppose we may need to wait and see if the two witnesses are from heaven or modern-day prophets again. But if they are modern-day prophets, could this directly parallel Daniel 12:6 ("As soon as there will have been a finishing of the dashing of the power of the holy people to pieces, all these things will come to their finish) and 1 Thessalonians 4 (being transformed to meet Jesus in the clouds)?
Thank you for joining us.
Our personal organization the system we live in runs like clockwork it is organized on the warp and weft principle as shown in post 387 above
. Religion is also run on the warp and weft principle and is part of the woven cloth enveloping the entire inhabited world. We have our routines, ways of thinking that regiment us to understand things in this, or that way. And we never question it. We have become cogs in the machine.
What we know is that the events Paul speaks of precede the manifestation of Jesus's presence, and that those who love truth will not be misled into believing the lie
, whatever that lie
will turn out to be. And we also know that the two witnesses complete their work prior to the seventh trumpet, and that they are the same as those who are not misled.
Anything beyond that is part of our mechanistic thought patterns.
While we're on the subject, we have been conditioned to think the holy ones, the chosen, the hundred and forty for thousand, and the two witnesses are all talking about the same thing. But are they?
At Mt 24:22, Jesus said concerning the great tribulation. But unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved. but on account of the chosen ones, those days will be cut short,"
. And then goes on to warn the chosen ones about being misled, saying, "Look I have forewarned you"
, (Mt 24:25. So even those who have been chosen can be ruled out.
At Rev 13:7 it says: And there was granted it to wage war with the holy ones and to conquer them...Here it is where it means endurance for the holy ones, those who observed the commandment of God and the faith of Jesus
, (Rev 14:12).
Concerning the 144,000, we know Revelation is written in symbols, and as such, I see the number as representative of a finite number as opposed to the numberless great crowd, (Rev 7:4,9). And I saw, and look! the Lamb, standing upon Mount Zion and with him, a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads ...and they are singing as if a new song
, which only they can master. It says of them these keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes, (Rev. 14:1-5). They are the first crop God has picked from among his human children, (Rev14:1-5). He knows whom he needs for the curing of the nations, (Rev 22:12), seepost 7, here
. And who is there that can gainsay him?
That is all I understand at this stage.
So where are we in the stream of time?
The eighth beast rose out of the abyss in 1948. And Jehovah says, And I will call forth against him through out my mountainous region a sword... against his own brother the sword of each one will be. And I will bring myself in judgement with him, with pestilence, with blood and with flooding downpour and hailstone. Fire and sulphur I shall rain down upon his bands and the many people with him. ...A noise will certainly come clear to the farthest part of the earth, for there is a controversy that Jehovah has with the nations and he must personally put himself in judgement with all flesh
, (Ezk 38:21-23; Jer 25:31).
