So is there going to be a great tribulation or is there a misunderstanding on what that actually means?

This is the place to discuss anything to do with scriptural doctrine. It is the primary purpose of this site, and most discussions will be here.

 why even bother replying then :?:
For the benefit of others who may be reading and pondering upon what has been said up to now.

You might imagine this is just a private conversation, but many others read these forums.

S5 - souls told to rest a bit longer

S6 - SUN MOON STAR event, people running and hiding because the great day of Jehovah's and Jesus' wrath has come.

T6 - 2nd woe/ 42 months nations trample holy city

T7 - 3rd woe/ announcement made that Satan's world/kingdom has now become God's kingdom

Okay that so far is not me or you saying that...that is what the Scriptures state in order.

Just a few questions for you so that we can add to this timeline;

You say the 'first resurrection' happens in two stages, the dead being raised, then the living.

What letter/number do you say for the dead to be raised?

What letter/number for the living?

What letter/number does the 'last trumpet' occur?

What letter/number does Jesus arrive as stated at Matt 24:30?

What letter/number does the 1,000 years begin?

What letter/number does the GT occur?

:waiting:

This earlier resurrection takes place at the opening of the 5th seal for some and the 7th trumpet for the rest.
I believe that the elect come to life, part at the opening of the 5th seal and part at the blowing of the 7th trumpet.

At the 7th trumpet.

The 7th trumpet blows 1335 days before the 1000 year reign starts
The last day is the 1000 year reign.
Based on you previous answers, they answer some of the questions I asked you.

What letter/number do you say for the dead to be raised? S5

What letter/number for the living? T7

What letter/number does Jesus arrive as stated at Matt 24:30? T7

What letter/number does the 1,000 years begin? B7 or just after

Here is how your answers look placed in the timeline:

[S1>>S2>>S3>>S4>>S5>>S6>>S7>>T1>>T2>>T3>>T4>>T5>>T6>>T7>>B1>>B2>>B3>>B4>>B5>>B6>>B7]

S5 souls told to rest a bit longer - 'first resurrection' for some of the elect occurs

S6 - SUN MOON STAR event, people running and hiding because the great day of Jehovah's and Jesus' wrath has come.

T6 - 2nd woe/ 42 months nations trample holy city

T7 3rd woe/ announcement made that Satan's world/kingdom has now become God's kingdom - Jesus' Matt 24:30 coming occurs - 'first resurrection' for the rest of the elect occurs

B7 1,000 years/last day begins

That just leaves two questions left for you to answer:

What letter/number does the 'last trumpet' occur?

What letter/number does the GT occur?

While waiting for you to answer those two :waiting:

Here is something to think about based on what the timeline reveals so far on where you place theses said events.

We know that 1 Corinthians 15:23 shows that the timing of when the 'first resurrection' will occur is when Jesus comes. Being that you have Jesus coming at T7 then how is it possible for some to begin to be resurrected at S5 :?:

Also even though you have not yet directly answered the question of what letter/number you would place the 'last trumpet', do you agree that the 'last trumpet' is the 7th trumpet :?: If that is the case, knowing that the elect dead are raised at the 'last trumpet'/7th trumpet, then again how can you have some of the elect being raised at S5 :?:

For you to maintain the belief that some elect begin to be resurrected at S5 then you have to completely ignore 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Corinthians 15:23 as well as 1 Thessalonians 4:16 which shows that it is at Jesus' coming that the dead elect are raised.

Also what is the point of the elect dead being raised at S5 just to immediately be told to rest longer :?: If they were just raised from being dead and told to rest longer then that would indicate that the resting they were doing was being dead, so they are actually being told to be dead a little while longer.

Also I think you can see now that those that are running and hiding during the 6th seal are the ones killed at Armageddon and serve as bird food. That being the case being that you are so convinced the REV is a straight forward smooth orderly book, tell me how S6 (Armageddon) comes before T6 (GT) :?:

Posting this for those who are inclined and persuaded to believe that the Word of God is in order.
This is where my studies have currently brought me, it is subject to change with understanding.
Other interpretations are also available - see johnamos2.0 for these.
You are free to believe as you wish...
