Re: John 1:3

Now, I find it ridiculous when people say no He didn't create everything. And if I listened to them long enough I wouldn't know of anything He created because the very same ones that are telling me He didn't create all things never admit to anything that he actually created. What is it that He crea...

John 1:3

"...Apart from Him not even one thing came into existence" (NWT 2013) "All things were made by Him, and without HIM was not any thing made...." (KJV) Now, I know there are quite a few here that have been taught and trained to believe otherwise. I was one of you at one time for an...

A watermill grinds the grain, but the water is the driving force behind it.

Thus, in effect, the water is grinding the grain.

I'm hoping this stays a Bible discussion and not a science contest construed by the wisdom of man.

So. what you're saying is that Jesus (The Word of God) didn't create the Spirit or Holy Spirit of God, and that Col 1:16 doesn't count when it comes to what you are saying?

Keeping (Col 1:16) in mind, Who or what exactly is the Spirit of God?

Re: Genesis 1:1

The Father's house was already in existence. The Word and God's spirit sons were already in existence. So, what you're saying is that (Jn 1:1) chronologically trumps (Gen 1:1) but it doesn't say anything about God's sons being in existence. You would have to go to (Col 1:16) for the information on ...

Re: Personal scriptural musings on The Trinity

It's not just this thread. Something sinister is going on. Hi brother Amos, I've said it before and Tom has said it before,: "kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom." Someone has made off with a heist, now Bobcat's gonna have to work overtime to get it back spliced. "We d...
